Brand Messaging

We create a collaborative environment for all, where the pursuit of wonder is at the forefront, inspiring and educating our community members to engage with the space between us and around us.

Many of the design elements draw from theatre aesthetics. The typographic direction is inspired by Founder & Creative Director Ashkan Alaie’s background and roots in the industry.

Typeface

The typefaces chosen are Acumin Pro which comes in various styles and weights which can be used for different mediums with high legibility. While being spacious and geometric in nature tying back to the STEM foundation of the Space Centre.

Ailerons is the secondary typeface for expressive compositions. This typeface was inspired by aircraft models from the 1940’s. It has space like qualities and pairs nicely with the photographic style and is used for posters, social media and advertising. Referring back to the vastness of space itself.

LOGO

The logo is an abstract geometric shape which can appear as numerous forms which appear in space. The design invokes curiosity with it's ambiguity.
